Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a SMS / SCCM Server Administrator for a position in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate will be well rounded with proficiency architecting, implementing, and maintaining an SMS / SCCM environment. Daily taks of the SMS / SCCM Server Administrator involve: resolving support calls related to SMS / SCCM (Incident Mgr.), supporting project teams with implementation of SCCM solutions, monitoring system performance and facilitating changes following client's IS Change Management procedures. The immediate focus of responsibilities will be the completion of upgrading client's current SMS environment to SCCM. MCSE or MCTS (SCCM) MS certifications is a plus. Some project management experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities:

   » Complete the upgrade of client's current SMS environment to SCCM.
   » Gather data and design SCCM upgrade strategy.
   » Design, develop, and implement upgrade of 15 SMS servers to SCCM.
   » Provide SMS / SCCM Server Administration and IIS Support.
   » Design and monitor application performance in Server environment.
   » Create and maintain project upgrade plan / schedule.
   » Provide 2nd level support on all existing SMS Servers and SCCM including Client issues.
   » Follow management escalation procedures for all problems that have significant impact to company business.
   » Communicate clearly and effectively to co-workers and management.
   » Provide Technical Diagrams and layouts.
   » Provide documentation for ongoing support of SCCM environment.
   » Support Quest software for AIX electronic discovery records into SCCM.

Required Skills:

   » Architect ,Engineer, and Administer entire SMS/ SCCM environment.
   » Monitor Usage and License status.
   » Manage workflow process and update as appropriate.
   » Proficient knowledge of Server Administration.
   » Confidently perform duties with limited supervision.
   » 5 years experience in Server platforms in large enterprise environment.
   » 5 years experience in Windows Server configurations.
   » 5 years experience in MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
   » 5 years experience within Microsoft Networking and Support ( Active Directory, WINS, TCPIP).
   » Proficient technical and design skills in troubleshooting SMS /SCCM/SQL DB details.
   » Proficient in scripting and queries.
   » Idenitfy gaps and areas of improvement , make recommendation and implementation strategies.
