Location: Atlanta, GA

Position summary:
The WebSphere ESB Developer is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation, documentation, and day-to-day operation of effective system-to-system integration between customer facing web sites and all Back End systems on which they depend. As an application developer for WebSphere ESB, you will design, develop and support application solutions using WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to meet client requirements. You may be required to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business partners, developers, DBAs and others to understand Commerce and other system/data integration needs.
- Adhere to software development life cycle processes and application development standards
- Work with business users and BAs to develop written requirements
- Create designs and integration specifications/documentation
- Develop and code system-to-system integrations across all platforms and technologies required to enable the target solution.
- Support and perform testing activities to ensure solution quality
- Maintain source code control throughout the software development life cycle
- Create production builds and deployment packages
- Share knowledge and mentor other ESB developers as needed - perform code peer reviews
- Contribute to architectural discussions
- Continually grow knowledge and skill-sets with system/data integration technologies
- Candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a multi-location team environment

Additional Responsibilities:
- Support SOX and PCI compliance by maintaining the environment within established guidelines and participating as requested in annual and adhoc audits

Basic Requirements:
- 6+ years' experience in distributed systems and applications development using ESB, other messaging/Middleware technologies and J2EE
- 3+ years' experience with WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) V6 or V7
- IT Technical School Graduate or College Degree (required)
- J2EE development including Java Beans, EJBs, Messaging Beans etc..
- Standards such as WSDL, SOAP, XML and Web services for J2EE
- Messaging Technologies (JMS & MQ )
- Web Services Development
- Development Tools (WebSphere Integration Developer - WID, Eclipse)
- Integration to WebSphere Commerce solutions
- IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- Application Adapters/Connectors (eg Commerce and JDE Connectors)
- SQL development (Db2, SQL databases)
- Understanding of databases (Db2 and SQL databases)
- Working knowledge of ESB running on a Windows or Linux platform
- Subversion (source code control)
- Apache Ant
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to pull together diverse working teams
- Must possess the ability to work under stress in time critical objectives of medium to high complexity without direction
- Currently this position will be leveraging the following skillsets/technologies:
* WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (WESB)
* Web Services
* Cast Iron
- Experience with other the IBM Data Integration solutions (ie WPS, WebSphere Message Broker, etc.) instead of WESB, can be acceptable, depending on the candidate's desire to expand their skill-set.

- Primarily in an office environment, will require some time in manufacturing environment to meet with users
- Requires overtime or adjusted schedules during major projects
- May require up to 20% travel
