DESCRIPTION
The Bookstore Manager essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Plans and prepares work schedules
- Formulates pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability of store operations
- Places textbook, uniform, and merchandise orders
- Initiates requests for text books from all instructors
- Performs sales work, inventories, cash reconciliations, maintains operating records, prepares daily record of transactions
- Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand
- Answers customer inquires
Job Requirements
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Book Store Manager must have a minimum of an Associates degree with previous management and bookkeeping education experience.
This is a full time position that requires day, evening and weekend availability.
