JOB SUMMARY:



The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) assists the President by analyzing issues and presenting options for national policy in the areas of budget, legislation, regulation, information, financial management, electronic government, and procurement. The Budget Systems Branch (BSB) supports these activities by providing a dynamic technology platform for compiling agency data that are used in the publication of the President's budget and numerous reports to Congress and the public. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted IT Specialist position requiring a combination of the direct application of technology, teaming with other technology experts, as well as direct communication with users, exercise owners, and senior management, in a dynamic environment in which the workload, requirements, and assignments often change based on evolving demands and priorities. The successful candidate will require strong analytical, technical and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; and the ability to accomplish long-term goals while managing multiple short-term priority requests.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
