Trust Accountant | |
The position involves preparing the annual trust account for a large portfolio of trusts. Responsibilities will include: - Manage the portfolio of trust financial statements. Prepare the trust accounts to the various standards required. Communicate with and manage relationships with clients and service providers. Develop internal control and reporting procedures. As a growing organization we also have the need for assistance in the area of Financial Control, and while the primary focus of this role is Trust Accounting, the role would also include: - Maintenance and control of ad hoc invoicing Assistance with Year End billing process Maintenance and Control of Timesheet process Various other ad hoc roles The successful candidate must have the following: - An internationally recognized accounting qualification with up to 2 years post qualification experience. At least two years relevant industry experience. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality a self starter. Be conversant with IT systems and possess excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Integrity within a professional environment The appointed person must be prepared to travel to off Island. | |
